Looking for advice on possible BOATs for freely in lakes.

Heading up in couple of weeks and would love to cut my teeth whilst there. Nothing too ott as first time off road.

Old coach rd, is one of the nicest with some stunning scenery, also grizdale forest would be a good one.... What tyres and if any protection do you have as I'd hate to recommend somewhere where you get stuck and or broken Tony....... tt's little tiger http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic20905.html

I recognise that blue D2, he has his own modification and repair Web site for the D2. Absolute genius on the disco and some amazing mods to that blue one.
