Well not a complete understatement because by your own admission Mrs CG did ahve a moment of 'madness' and consdiered the advantages of the caravan ....

Anyway by posting you have proved my point, so many thanks to you ..... dear friend Thumbs Up

Hi all.

Just got to say thanks to every one that has welcomed me to the forum and given me the thumbs up on the
freelander 2..

Not made my mind up on anything just yet and what to get opinions on a few 4x4 's.

It's clear that you all seem to rate the Freelander 2 highly and I really appreciate your replies,
it's the best way to get to know a vehicle before you buy.

Often grip somebody in a fuel station if they have the vehicle I 'me interested in.

Please accept this as a big thanks to all of you that took the time to reply, fingers getting old now so would take hrs to reply to you all one at a time.

Best wishes.
Baz.
PS ,Chicken george,go get a caravan and enjoy the outside life, this life ain't no test run Laughing
you know it make sense. Thumbs Up

United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

Pifle ....... As said before I live in the middle of nowhere already so I have no need to seek the outdoor life, and if I do I choose a proper roof, bathroom and gin and tonics in front of a roaring fireplace Cool

Buy the Fl2 you will not regret it, What other options are as well rounded as a Land Rover? I advise 'Black no towbar' but I think you know that already Laughing At work

Reliability

Done 15,000 trouble free miles in 2 FL2'S.I would not take that Auto-express survey too seriously, as it puts a Discovery in second place above all the Japanese cars, which is ridiculous. Stornaway grey SE auto with 18" alloys
