I wonder how much each car is worth, surely each car wont have tax such as VAT on the value of it, nor the dealer mark ups so I wonder how much money LR will get for the cars? Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

Very sad the throw away world we live in & all down to money as per usual. The cheapest way will always win!! Regardless of any other factions even if the other way is more sensible/beneficial etc. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red. (Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red. the reason is twofold. 1) when the cars are put onto the Ferry, the ownership and therefore the insurance is held by the ferry company, so it depends what their Insurance is saying 2) you just don't know how much water damage was caused, these vehicles cannot be given a JLR warranty |

I have seen some photos of the inside of the ferry and can fully understand why there are scrapping the cars. apart from damage to panels etc. there was a lot of strain on suspension parts etc from the angle of the cars plus think of what happens to an engines oil etc when the car has spent a couple of weeks at 45 degrees. |
