OK Pab, what some want, but the DS is not an FL3, the trend in the industry is to make the progression larger and more practical, until it becomes so large as to be impractical my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis

I just cannot believe all the heartache and hand wringing! What with climate change (?); The economy; The world's "religious" woes; and the inevitable price of sliced bread, there are more important things to worry about! All in the best possible taste, of course! Bob 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone) 08 FL2 TD4 SE Manual in Rimini Red (Now Gone) |

Guys... DS will be a fine motor just like the FL2 ...DS is the replacement FL2 whether we all like it or not, it was always going to be divisive, but LR have to move on...they have to compete with Audi/BMW etc...

Due to pending DS arrival, I'm now splitting my Land Rover-based internet forum time between a DS forum (one that j77 uses) and this one... Now:

As LR are indisputably best in class for most folk looking for real & luxury 4x4s, it seems rather odd to be mirroring Audi & BMW, neither of which many of us would consider. As for the argument that LR have to entice new customers, so current customer tastes largely irrelevant, that is just perverse. Its much easier to retain a current LR customer than acquire new ones. It would therefore seem reckless to focus solely on new punters! Life is not a dress rehearsal! |
