This is a state-of-the-art engine, featuring many tech firsts for Jaguar and Land Rover.

How much power & torque do you need in DS? Dw12 2.2 l diesel 150 & 190 ps with 420Nm max torque, new Ingenium engine as fitted to XE 163ps 380Nm & 180ps with 430Nm , so new engines will be at least as powerful as outgoing engine with better fuel economy, dealers clearly havent a clue what they are saying. |

If its all about aerodynamics how comes it has taken so long then given the Sierra was launched in 1982, some 33 years ago? That was revolutionary regarding aerodynamics. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

If I was interested in aerodynamics and fuel economy I would have bought a Prius.

Yep, would be interested in petrol power. But overall not interested in the ingenium engine, it will be the same overstated fuel economy figures. Stick to what I know.

Plus reduced ground clearance due to the revised rear suspension, and a rip-off approach to pricing and specifications. |

Dealers are talking absolute rubbish with regards to the Ingenium engines.. The new diesel engine will be the only diesel available in the DS with various power outputs.

When I went on the DS builder today there was the option to specify the Si4 Petrol engine. Dealer I spoke to recons both engines would be sold, the present producing the 190BHP & the ingenium doing the more economic 150BHP. Can't see that myself, why would you have 2 diesels?
