Try Bruce Davis Performance Landys at Annangrove. He knows Land Rovers and is independent, not sure of price. |

It may help someone down the track, I eventually bit the bullet and had the diff rebuilt in Sydney at a total cost of $1650. It was a drive in / drive out job, diff removed, all bearings and seals replaced, new fluid in the diff and Haldex unit. 20,000km warranty and a job well done all in one day.

Just be aware from others on the forum that the noisy diff can also be a transfer box problem, my dealer replaced both at the same time under extended warranty which fixed it for about 500 miles and then the noise came back but this time it was a wheel bearing. All quiet now. So make sure you are fixing the right part. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
