Thanks for the reply but thats for the standard music system. I have the colour screen media system which doesn't have that option in the audio settings unfortunately. 3 months and still looking ! |

Old post but I can't find this either. On page 130 standard audio system, it covers operating the phone now on page 122 this where I've found it, adaptive volume control. Doesn't seems to cover or have it on the premium sound system. MY13 HSE LUX Aintree Green

Well unless someone knows better I think I've answered my own post, the meridian premium sound system hasn't got adaptive volume control. Having read posts on the Evoque forum and the same post was raised there with no conclusion and the same outcome that only the standard sound system has it and it isn't on the premium sound system for what ever reson meridian see fit. I have a copy of the meridian brochure for the Evoque. It says that it has "dynamic volume control" which monitors ambient noise and changes the volume accordingly. It says that if for instance you open a window or drive over a rough road which increases noise it will compensate. Not sure how it differentiates between that noise and the noise coming out of the speakers though. Some fancy electronics I expect.I assume the F2 meridian system is similar except for the actual speaker placement (e.g.evoque sub under drivers seat ). FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory |
