As fair as I know the GVIF units just make it a display and you wouldn't get touchscreen control of a RassberryPi Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Just to close out this topic, after a bit of research you can buy a 7" touchscreen overlay to sit over the existing touch screen + usb controller and use it this way. |

One more question, I've just bought a GVIF from HIDS4U, where can I find an easily accessible 12v supply? Is the one in the center console for the 12v aux the best solution? |

I think you can take the 12v from the DVD Nav System |

Only reason I didn't consider it was I read a HIDS4U guide that was linked here and it recommended to take it from the AUX.

That only shows me the GVIF outputs not the back of the DVD player. Blue is obviously the LCD, not a clue about the others.

I fitted a GVIF that I got from HIDS4U, but the FL2 also requires an adapter cable, which I could only get from the US for $140 including delivery, from NavVideo.com, However that website doesn't exist anymore.
