Not necessarily so, with a Towbar a rear end shunt will transfer the energy to the chassis rails instead of across the whole of the rear. Also the fitting of a spacer between the Towbar and the ball they have to be Type Approved to each design of Towbar, if it hasn't been submitted for testing, it should tell you with the documentation of the Towbar if it's been type approved. |

Not long now till the salt hits the road today I removed foam lanced and waxed the 22's before placing them in storage. Running the stock 19s now throughout the winter period! We went out to the pictures this evening and I've got to say the freely handles a lot better with the 22's roll on summer 2015

Back in May 2014 I purchased two brand new FL2 spoilers to join and make one big spoiler as I was wanting to have the same profile of spoiler that mine arrived with from factory but have it sweeping out a tad more from the car. Progress has been slow on this but here is some snaps I took from the body shop today! It should look identical as the current Land Rover item but just larger!

I changed the fog light bulbs and headlight bulbs in June. At the same time I also changed the indicator as it had the egg fried look in the lights. I opted for the Osram diadem which is a nice blue but flashes amber. I have got these fitted in the Freelander 1 also.

Stainless Steel Cobra side tubes were fitted around same time. They were purchased from Germany and were made to order, if IIRC they took 5 weeks to arrive. They still look like new are are a nice and chunky over 3" thick diameter. From a distance they look integrated and part of the bodykit.

Liking the car, looks ace. My only issue is your roof bars look like they are on back to front, bet they whistle a bit. (Or do you just want to be different). Good posts. 👍 |
