Just trawling through the posts about how to re solder a new battery into my keyfob that's playing up and I found the above. Anybody used them on here at all?

Thanks for the reply, but I can't access their site - either via your link or google? Are they still in business?

I used the remote fob centre, good turn around, battery and case replaced and returned in full working order when her fob stopped working.

Could be this one, but the site is down at the moment.

they repaired my07 key fob.new case and battery.

Call me mistrusting, but I'd be reluctant to send a remote key and my home address off to someone I don't know. They then have your car keys and your address. Call in and wait, no problem as they won't know where to find your car if they were that way inclined. Perhaps if you do send it off, have it returned to a friend/relatives address and get them to pay on their credit/debit card to be on the safe side.

Remote key have been around for ages and specialise in LR stuff. Have advertised in LR mags for years. Their website is working this am.

That is exactly what I was going to do, either pay cash or on somebody elses card and then just have it returned to work address to be safe.
Has to be better than paying Land Rover's fees hey!

I used this service on EBay. The only slight criticism is that the replacement case is a cheaper plastic but otherwise excellent.

That's actually the place I used in the end, excellent service, did it while I waited and it looks and works as new, spot on for £40.

Just (yesterday) sent my SAAB 4 button off for repair - the contacts had come off the circuit board.
Call back today with a request for payment saying it's fixed and ready to post back.
Amazing turn-around time and VERY cheap @ £19.99
