Test drove a 12 plate freelander today

Took a look at this today:

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&...1593138629

Was the first freelander I've driven and was quite pleased. It's abit more than I wanted to spend, newer, and considerably higher mileage but it's given us a good idea of things.

Hi Tim, cheers for reply. Has full service history every 6 months. First registered a March 2012 so we agreed that if we took it it'd come with a fresh MOT.
Now need to sell my Mazda 6 estate (trade in value is lower than we want to let it go for so will try to sell privately)

The mileage is no problem really. Check for accident damage, the l/h rear light is from an older model.....

Something not right with those rear lights. The LH one is pre 11MY

Plate in advert is a cherished/private one. It's now on a 12 plate

Hmmmm. I'm always suspicious if the sale price is particularly cheap. More so when the WBAC valuation is a couple of grand higher than the sale price. Whistle Be careful!

So the original owner traded it in possibly nearly six months ago.
Also the seller has bought LR Parts off the bay, wonder what he bought, a rear light?

so DVLA is showing it as registered in 2014, the cherished plate on the car is a 62 plate (Sept 2012- April 2013) and its now been registered on a 12 plate (Mar 2012- Sept 2012)

Couple that with the mismatched rear lights I would walk away to be honest. Plenty more less suspicious Freelander 2 on the market.
