United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Santorini Black
New to the Forum

Hi all,

I have been the owner of the fine specimen below now for about 6 months. I traded in a very well used and loved Defender 90 for something that we could hold a conversation in without shouting and got much better mpg. Smile

Bruce as the good lady has named it, joins a stable of Discovery's and a FL1. I was a little cautious of swapping out of the 90 to this but all my worries were gone the moment I pointed it at a soggy wet field of freshly lifted sugar beet whilst at work. Even with road bias tires and no TR (he's only an S spec) it pulled itself out with very little fuss.

Having lurked in the background of the forum for a while, I have picked up many useful items of information along the way and hope that I can contribute back in the future.

I've not done much to the car, apart from add a tow bar, full waterproof seat covers (Britpart I think), a Britpart centre cubby box/arm rest and some black side vents to replace some chrome items fitted by the last owner.

Sadly this is about the cleanest it gets with where we live and the job I do

Welcome to Freel2 Henra, looking forward to your contribution here.
As for a little dirt, it's what they are for, they look good that way, they should either be clean, really clean or dirty, it's the ones in between that are the problem Laughing Neglected and never used as intended Thumbs Up

Thanks for the warm welcome,

This is the footwell of the red disco, they do get a lot of tlc when time allows Whistle

Thankfully the FL2 hasn't gotten this bad yet, I do tip an awful lot of mud off the mats each week though.
