It doesn't run when applied which is good, no warnings on can that it can't be used so I went for for it, I sprayed it onto a cloth and wiped the rubbers, they were absolutely fine this morning.

The lithium grease better on hinges, mirrors etc. Not an expert on these things so use with caution but I have never had any issues .

Definitely past Halfords....

Not a winter pic, but a winter drive.

Doing my duties on the North York Moors today and some of the roads were lethal with cars having to turn around when ascending some of the steep inclines.
Followed a Suzuki Vitara up one of the icy banks and once on the level he got a huge 'tank slapper' going on
Me .... absolutely none of it.
Unfortunately camera didn't show it as I was driving into the sun.

But watch this chap [14:05 40] in his VW Pick-Up, thought he was going to collect me [road was packed ice after that].
Oh and spot the helicopter later on



Must say, was absolutely delighted with the road holding of the FL2 coupled with my new [proven] LTZ tyres.
It never put a wheel wrong, well planted, no vague steering and not one wheel slip or spin and not even ABS kicking in.
I really was impressed on the snow and ice.
Dare I say, it even felt more sure footed than my previous D3 & D4, possibly because it's a lighter more agile vehicle.
Well the FL2 & LTZ tyre combo definately sold itself to me today.

The back of the vehicle starts to sway from side to side and can be tricky to catch if you don't know what you're doing

Yes, it's a motorbike term, and yes wouldn't call it a power slide, especially as the "4x4" was a Suzuki Vitara.
Even the VW pick-up in my vid is handling more like 2 wd!


Edited to ad: I would've thought a power slide would be too much power input with a slide just to the one side and with the driver able to control it.
Whereas a tank slapper goes from one side to the other and so forth with the rider/driver struggling for control.

Goes to show what you can do when everything comes together, there is very little 'editing' in that shot, indeed, that is the original JPEG, the RAW files havnt been touched yet.
The plane was in the right place at the right time, the camera meter reading was taken from the sky and the flash hastily stuck on the camera..... Click and that's the shot I got
