Hi everyone,
New to the forum and to Landrover ownership. I have just replaced my 2007 Volvo V50 D5 geartronic , for 57 plate(2008) HSE auto in Zermatt Silver.Can anyone recommend a good independent garage in the Bradford area? There's one in Keighley, and one in Embsay (Skipton). Are they any good?

I don't know either of those but I can thoroughly recommend Brian at Green Oval garage in Gildersome.

Brian the owner is very knowledgeable as are all his Landrover trained mechanics, they use genuine Landrover parts and conduct work to Landrover standards.

I know live in Cumbria but still take my freel to him. Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

Yep will second that, def Brian at Green Oval.
Never used him though as I'm well sorted with my LR dealership, but Green Oval have an excellent reputation from the Disco3 forum.

Thanks for all your replies.Green Oval is a definite, but I was concerned about the distance.Having said that,many of you don't seem to mind the distance as long as the service is good.

The other benefit with Green Oval is that they have a steady supply of Freel1 as courtesy cars enabling you to leave your car and collect when the work is completed and the biggest benefit is the cost saving - I can't remember the exact figures but I saved over £350 by taking my Freel2 to green oval for a full set of Landrover discs and pads over using my local Landrover dealer :  Current 2008 Freel2 HSE

I recently traded in my Volvo V50 and used a Volvo Specialist in Skipton ,and he was brilliant.He always had a courtesy car available, and really looked after his customers.

The Discovery Centre, Pool in Wharfedale.
