Being tall with big feet I think it would be more comfortable if I could take the foot rest out, so I can get my feet further under the pedals.

Before I pull the carpet out is it possible? Has anyone done this?

Can't help with the footrest, but I have long legs as too, I don't actually use the foot rest and put my left foot up the inside of it which works for me. What I do get though is an ache in my right shin, do you get that?

Only had the car just over a week and not been on any real long journeys yet to see if I get any aches/pains. I have also been putting my foot to the right of the foot rest but my leg/knee feels a bit twisted in this position and I suspect it would give me grief on a long journey. Hopefully it's just a bit of plastic under the carpet I can remove and push the carpet flat - I took the footrest off another car years ago and it was much more comfortable.

Ok be interesting to see how you get on. The problem I find is my right foot has to arch up too much and no amount of seat adjustment can eliminate it. I was able to mitigate the problem slightly by modifying the angle of the accelerator pedal down slightly. It has a flat plastic backing plate which slides onto three bolts, two upper and one lower, set in a metal bulkhead structure. I removed the accelerator pedal and shimmed the upper two bolts with 3 washers, which lowered the pedal slightly. Its helped but not eliminated it.

I find the brake pedal is high for me. Is it possible to adjust so it sits slightly lower? FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

The brake pedal is a different mounting, it hangs down, I didn't pay much attention to it so I don't know if there is a way of changing the angle.

Looks like I'll be doing my best sloth impression to see if anything can be adjusted . If not I'll just have to live with it. FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory
