PS4 vs Xbox One

I sold my Xbox 360 while I was at Uni because it wasn't getting used. I'm now thinking of a comeback to consoles. I know a good PC beats both but which is the better console do you think?

I had both a PS1 and PS2 before defecting to the Xbox. Any thoughts? LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Cheers. I assume it has wi-fi built in too, unlike the older consoles. I am leaning towards a PS4 as I want to get back into the Metal Gear Solid series and Gran Turismo amongst others. GTA 5 will be a defo too. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Nice one. I will hold fire until January to see what the sale offers and also until after the 6th when I find out the budget cut proposals at work.

If my job is ok, it will make a nice treat after all the stress and worry. Cuts, cuts, cuts, cuts Evil or Very Mad There will be no bloody staff left at this rate. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

XB1 all day - sky runs through it and you simply tell it to watch tv or play games and it does it - PLUS there are a load of Irish Russians who sell download game codes for £24 for all new games on release day!

PS4 hands down, only thing XB1 can touch it on is its exclusive games which are few and far between now. PS4 is cheaper, doesn't hide most of its features behind a paywall, better made, smaller and more powerful.
