Auto box didn't engage gear?

I bought a secondhand HSE the other week that I'm very pleased with.

The other day I put it into "R" and it just revved. Back into "P" then "R" again and it was absolutely fine. It has only done this once. Is this a known issue?

Thanks!

I had just started it and put it into "R" straight away, so hopefully that is the explanation.

Will do some testing.

Being a little to fast with the stick can confuse it, being late for work one day I have pressed the 'start' button and before its cranked it allowed me to move into 'Drive' where it refused to start the engine. I moved the stick back to 'Park' and it started automatically without me pressing the button again.

Being late for work is a distant memory so I'm in no hurry now Smile
