Roof racks for FL2

The choice of roof racks for FL2 seems to be very limited, most that I have seen are aluminium trays (including the genuine LR one) which is not really what I would like.

Does anyone know of any other racks that would fit? and how they fit.

Does anyone know if expedition racks (such as the D3 or RR ones as fitted to the G4) would fit onto the FL2.?

I have already the factory rails and X bars but like the look of the D3 style racks.

cheers

Rog

thanks for the link,

from the look of they're offerings they are mostly roof bars, which I already have.

I am after something that idealy looks like the D3 or RRS ones, with the black plastic wind deflector/spots mounts on the front. Although I know that its highly unlikely one is available to fit the FL2.

Failing that something like the old FL1 expedition roof rack that LR produced at over inflated prices.

That one from Maverick looks like Front Runner rack that I had on my 90. Really well made from aluminium and a clever modular system to make it easy to connect other fastenings, spotlights etc as required. Not relevant here, but the only downside of it (or any rack for that matter) on a Defender is it just makes them too tall to get into almost any car park that has a height restriction. Assuming the Freelander version is as good, then that's definitely is the one I'd go for.
