Been lurking here for a while for guidance and have gleaned a lot of useful advice that has steered my purchase so thanksto all contributors.

Not wanting to pay Stealer prices for servicing, I'm looking for a recommended independant garage around Nottingham. Any suggestions?

depends where you are in Nottingham area, but Colemans Garage just off J28 M1 towards Mansfield (A38) are very good. Ive used them for years on various cars, and now my kids take their cars to them too.
Matt, the guy who runs it, is really friendly and very customer conscious. He even has loan cars (if you can manage driving round in a little *hitroen C1 )
