Scratch removal

What's the best product for lifting out light scratches on the paintwork anyone's found?

Tried that T-Cut metallic which isn't too bad on my last car.

The FL2 (which part of the reason for buying silver and not black like my last car was that the scratches would show less) has been a bit of a jonah in the few months I have had it with scratches galore...... Big Cry

how bad are the scratches Question

A good rule of thumb is if you can catch it with your finger nail, it's too deep to buff out

if they are just slight scratches, head for 'Meguiers Scratch X' and a large bucket of elbow grease which your shopping Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

In order of worsening severity of scratch, I use:

1. Autoglym super resin polish
2. 3M Finesse-It (Product 09639) (designed to remove orange peel but used by Triumph motorcycles as a finishing polish on fuel tanks)
3. Brasso
4. Holts cutting paste
5. Give up and remind everyone it's an off-road car and I got this scratch on a really tough track in the middle of nowhere and the path was overgrown and the surface was treacherous but this great car got through!

I always use Autoglym SRP after the other produtcs to restore wax protection and then top off with Autoglym Extra Gloss (let this dry completely before polishing, 45 mins plus)

Cheers
