England 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Loire Blue
Metropolis

Had this a month or so now and I'm really pleased with it. Ist time it has actually been clean. Drove home in atrocious weather, been quite grotty since so left until I had a couple of hours free. Did the usual, wet down, snow foam, rinse, two bucket wash, rinse, dry. Not waxed yet (planning to do that today if its nice). Photos could have been better, does not show the flake in the paint very well

It's Loire blue on the ticket, not sure if Buckingham is lighter or darker as I don't think I've ever seen the two colours together. Then again, as a newbie to LR ownership I'm not sure I'd recognise which is which anyhow . FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

Ah must be the light then, from the pic is looks a very close match to Buckingham blue Thumbs Up

Has the Loire blue got the flecks in it that sparkle in the sun? Thought only the buck had that but guess maybe all the blues do? Sure someone will know from on here

Be careful when you wax or polish it when it comes to the letters on the bonnet, it can be a Censored to get it looking neat

Yep it has the flecks. If you look closely in the sun they seem to be blue, red, purple & silver flecks. Gonna be a Censored to match if a panel gets scraped Razz FL2 Metropolis, Loire Blue, ebony/ivory

I have had my Freelander 2 Metropolis in Loire Blue with Ivory Windsor and ebony for coming up to 2 weeks and I love it. It is my third Freelander 2 and I think it will be the best car I Have ever had. Even had to smile when I opened the sunroof mid drive after it had been rainingand felt like a bucket of water came down on me and my lovely leather seats. No damage done. Love my new car. Had an Evoque for a couple of weeks and traded it back for this car which is superior in every way. Most of all for the command driving position.
