Boot Buddy vs Genuine Land Rover Boot Liner

I am undecided which of these to buy. I like the idea of the boot buddy but with it being plastic does it rattle against the trim when in use?

I opted for the genuine Land Rover liner because I don't want to attach bits of velcro everywhere to keep a pattern part in place. Have people found them to be reasonably durable? It's intended use is to cart my arthritic Labrador to some of his old stomping grounds so water/dirt protection is crucial as, despite his old age, he is still a mud magnet and I have cream leather/carpets!!!!

I can't tell if the LR one is the same as mine...
I bought a genuine LR liner when I first got the car. It fits the space perfectly but two things are less than ideal
1. The seam has ripped where the zips are sited
2. The liner is held in place by suckers on elastic that you stick to the rear side windows. This is very inelegant.
...but it has done the job (keeping dog detritus off the car interior) for 3 yrs + now, so...

... ...

Be true to yourself. That way happiness lies...

Surprised Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
Had boot Buddy for 2 Years now in FL2 XS SD and have to say its excellant
Put everything from the Dog to Skip Trips in and it stands up really well
Just a quick wipe down with damp cloth and its like new again
Went for this as its plastic so can handle and sharp objects or Dogs claws
Really good fit and no rattles

Can only tell of experience of the boot buddy, no complaints. Bought with the anti slip mat and bumper protector. Excellent bit of kit, as has been said, from dogs, tip runs and full of muddy boots and dead pheasant from beating. Well worth the money.

I have gone for the basic Versaliner, mat and standard bumper guard. My dog has to be lifted in so I didn't think it was worth the extra money for the deluxe padded bumper guard. I can PM you when it arrives to give you more information if you need it.

Same as post above, the only thing I did different was use black nasty along the bottom to secure the bumper protector to the base of boot buddy. Will try and takd a piccy in daylight. Smile
