I do feel for Mrs G's friends though they have been stuck in their van all week in this Censored weather.

I was following a rather large van down a country lane today when it suddenly stopped and started attempting to reverse into a side road. This was terrible in 3 ways
1 gross inconsideration for other road users.
2 he could not reverse for toffee yet he is allowed to tow the large van.
3 he had a Hyundia 4x4 thingie ....what a waste of black paint.

In the end I had to get out of my pickup to give him reversing tips and directions... so I do help you vaners out occasionally Laughing . But seeing his lack of skills I do wonder if people should be able to reverse trailers and or vans before being released on the roads, especially with super-sized rigs like his.
Oh and his reason for turning round --- he decided to go home again after hearing the weather forecast on the car radio At work

Why thanks for helping him out CG, very decent of you Thumbs Up

I wouldn't dream of trying to defend the actions of in inconsiderate and/or unskilled caravan tugger. I'd like to think they are in the minority but as with any group in society its the minority that often gain a bad reputation for the majority.

I'm nice to everyone Cool . (except Mrs G's sister Evil or Very Mad )
I did once make a young couple throw a disposable BBQ into the river though Laughing But they had lit it in the middle of a tinder dry patch of grass on the old railway bridge on our farm. If a fire had started it could easily have burnt a few fields of wheat, a wood and quite possibly my Dads house so I don't think I over reacted.
"Get orf my land"

It wouldnt burnt much right now though, its rained all week Sad At work

No he looked around 40, So if you account for the stress of owning a van ageing him by 5 years I reckon he was 35...or less At work

The vaners came to see us yesterday as it was to rainy for us to visit them in their van Laughing . Anyway inspite of that tell tale fact, they managed to spread their vanist propaganda to Mrs G Rolling Eyes .
She has today announced that we should buy a c Censored van and wants me to take her to Ropey's c Censored van world to see what's on offer. I have so far countered by telling her its impossible to fit a towbar to an FL2 without ruining its character (true) . My next line of defence is offering to buy her a hot tub for the garden Laughing.
I'm sure it is only a passing thought to her and the propaganda will soon wear off. But if she wins she will find her self holidaying alone as neither Finn or me will step foot in her wobbly trailer. Evil or Very Mad

Bl Censored dy vaners sitting in my kitchen, drinking my tea eating my biscuits yet plotting against me Evil or Very Mad

Roy did spend a while telling me about motor movers, gas heaters etc, but I fell asleep  At work

Excellent idea perhaps you could give out her contact details as it would be better to speak to the organ grinder and not the monkey Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
