Weather Bomb

Or Explosive Cyclogenesis (also referred to as a weather bomb, meteorological bomb, explosive development, or bombogenesis) refers in a strict sense to a rapidly deepening extratropical cyclonic low-pressure area.

Over hyped risk assessment by the weather guys so they don't Michael fish it or a real system coming our way

Might make a cool photo op with huge waves crashing in though Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I think after the famous Mr Fish incident, the authorities are a little cautious whipping everyone into a frenzy, if we didn't know about it would we suffer any more, maybe a little, but the time of year, the fact it's windy makes most people go out prepared.
i am on the edge of the warning area, would love to be in Scotland on the West Coast though, love wild weather up there.

Just got an email from the AA (road recovery not the other one- don't get those any more Very Happy ) telling me that the Met Office has just issued a weather warning in my area. Looked at the BBC weather app and all looks ok? Who do you believe, well I always think the best way is to look out of the window, if you can't see Clee Hill it must be raining, if you can see Clee Hill it is going to rain. Or should that be the other way round?? Confused

Water bomb used to be a condom filled with water and placed in an unsuspecting fellow motor club members bed in a IOM boarding house whilst on the Island for the IOM Stages Rally , to frustrate him when returning from a heavy night on the beer with a female companion. Shocked Shocked

It's pretty blowy up here, driving along the A92 this morning I couldn't see a thing even with the wipers on the fastest setting, scary stuff. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

its been quite breezy here, bins been blown over and a few fences down

my daughter playground was closed too as the toy shed had blown upside down also

but it has been quite strong, i was sat watching my car rock side to side earlier with a few gusts

I hate the wind though, any bang or clatter last night, in my head was my conservatory roof panel flying out again, so my early night to catch up on sleep was not as planned Evil or Very Mad Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

An opportunity for the Daily Express to wheel out its routine, predictable weather "news" on page 1. It's Censored December, so it gets blowy, snowy & the like. So a wheelie bin or two takes a tumble. #unsurprising... ...

About two inches of snow between Aviemore and Forres, worse bit was the M74 this afternoon, lane 1 ok, lane 2 just, snow in lane three, but nasty side wind, a few clenched moments Whistle
