Seat Belts Rubbing On Seats

Does anyone else suffer with the seatbelt buckles rubbing on the sides of the front seats when you are wearing them? Anyone know of any remedies? (other than not wearing them!) Now - 2017 BMW X3 M Sport Carbon Black

I have stuck some velour faced Fablon onto the inside of the seatbelt buckle where it rubs on the side of the seat. This has stopped the anoying squeaky sound that I was getting. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4.Zermatt Silver,Privacy glass,Bi-Xenon headlights........Gone!

Is Fablon the 'sticky back plastic' of Blue Peter fame? My Mum would never get me any of that so I could never make any Blue Peter stuff Big Cry And her fairy liquid bottles used to last for ages, so no rockets either Sad . At work

I had this at the beginning. I took the car to my dealer. They did "something" and the noise just disappeared!
Three weeks later: guess what ???? the noise is back again! I'll try to fix it myself now!!!!

ive bought some sticky back fabric yesterday - just got to get around to sticking it to the buckle. Strangely its the passenger seat that tends to rub the most(?) Relocating the seat helps sometimes but that damn seatbelt buckle must realise and move itself again, maybe the rubbing turns it on?? I always thought sticky back plastic was Sellotape, but being the Beeb they couldn't advertise brand names?
