Winter pictures

Just a reminder to keep your cameras at the ready these next few days as the winter weather blows in, you may get an interesting picture to share with us. I fancy a trip back up here if the tops snow over.

On Grass Hill Causeway near Alston in the North Pennines. Couple of hours drive to get up there, beautiful part of the country.
It's a rough track, that was a part where I could park and get a picture, your not driving like that, there was one area where people have obviously tested their cars on a big slope and frankly made a right mess. I was alone so no heroics, one section was a little rocky, it doesn't look bad from the pictures but the Freely2 wouldn't have gone over the rocks without some sort of damage, as I said I was alone and a puncture up there would have been a nightmare.
There are some more pics on Flickr.

It is indeed a legal right of way Thumbs Up
There are 5 gates along its length to open and close and a few side roads, these however, are private and should not be driven.

Could not open my door this morning frozen solid, I had to run a credit card through the top door seal to get in. Then forgot to turn off the auto wipers, ouch horrible crunch, but seem ok now.

Dawns Early Light

I went round my seals yesterday with White Lithium grease, also did the mirrors and remembered to 'winter park' the wipers, made all the difference, straight in no bother Thumbs Up

Thanks Taztastic

White lithium grease, I will pick some up later. Is that available from a petrol station or is it a trip past halfords do you think

Thumbs Up
