I've had trouble tonight too - between 7.30 and 8.30. Reported server issues on a very wide range of websites. Email was still working though so not internet based but website domain name resolution perhaps. All seems sorted now though. FL2 2007 57 GS

Might be worth turning everything off, waiting a minute then turning everything back on, works for my broadband dropouts. Good luck.

What about the DSL filter, is that in the main phone socket (inserted before anything else) then the router plugged in after that?

Might be worth running these tests it will also tell you what you maximum line speed is set to

Finally a BT technician said that this is a useful place to find out what's going on generally

the DSL box is plugged in to the main socket, the socket has the broadband line and the phone line, this then ethernets too my modem (airport extreme)

I had a brand new DSL switch, so i have tried that as well and still the same issue, whether on wired or wireless, bthub or apple extreme Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis
