Good posts thanks Thumbs Up

Got my H7 & H11 Nightbreakers coming from Steve (AF), so now know to take extra care in fitting them.
Here's hoping I'm not going to join other forum members and take up plane spotting. FL2 now gone and have a couple of items left for sale:-

Brodit active iPhone holder + Brodit dash clip,
Bluetooth Music Streaming Module.

You've got me wondering now...I upgraded to night breakers HB3's on Saturday, and have noticed the N/S pavement gets significantly more light than the O/S, especially higher up.
I can't compare the old OE bulbs as I only used them once and they were so bad I changed bulbs the next day.
It's not easy turning right on a left hand bend in unlit area.
Lights went back together no problem, and I think N/S on RHD cars should be better lit to illuminate signage, but wondering if mine are right Confused

Before I fit mine, can those in 'the know' explain exactly what the seating problem is?
ie, what causes it and how to ensure correct seating.
May just make things a little clearer when coming to fit.

I think it may be that with the old H4 dual filament bulbs there were three locating lugs and you couldnt physically fit them 'wrong' but with the H7's if you are the ham fisted type, it is easily achievable! Just give them a good wiggle to check they are seated before fitting the retaining clip. Thumbs Up

The HB3's also have three lugs that you quarter twist to fit. I think the problems some have had is replacing the whole light unit back into its space. There are two 'tracks' that guide the unit, and its easy to think its properly re-seated when in fact one side is just out.
My gaps around the light look the same either side, but there is definitely more light to the nearside.
