I have an app on my iPad called worldview, I know I'm sad |

but I like to see what's going on around the world at any given time. One of the cams I have favourited is at the port of Dubrovnik, normally there is a cruise ship or two in dock ,but today there is an aircraft carrier in . I can't make out the flag to see what country it's from.

I have just looked in the App Store , the one I have is for the iPhone but it works on the iPad , if you are looking for the app choose iPhone only.

Re the "Cavour". I am amazed to see Italy can afford to run a through deck carrier with up to 16 Harriers when we were supposedly so broke we scrapped the carriers and sold all our Harriers to the USA for spares. |

Italy are net beneficiaries from the EU, we have to contribute massively. Italy probably don't have our crazy Foreign Aid budget. Italy don't shell out anything like the amount in Welfare spending that we do. Italy doesn't run the NHS.

Yes, we are building two carriers - HMS Queen Elizabeth, named in July this year and scheduled to be commissioned 2017 will not have any aircraft (F35B) until 2018 at the earliest. "Initial operational capability" is presently 2020, if we are lucky. HMS Prince of Wales will be commissioned in 2020 "under current plans". Capability?
