Trolley Dolly? ; Basket Case?

Years ago, the joke about Eastbourne was: "Why are there so many Austin A35's here?" Answer: "'cos they are handy for putting the crutches in the back". 'Nuff said! BTW, I see it has travelled far - Bournemouth plates!

edit: that one is an A30 Embarassed 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

A30 or A35? Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

When I lived in NZ, I had an A35. Highly modified engine, went like a rocket. Shame it couldn't go round bends or stop!

The A30 had a chrome grill and the A35 was painted! Smile

My fathers A30 used as much oil as petrol. On a long journey he used to stop every 80 miles and shove another pint of oil in it. Said he wished he'd kept his Series E.
He went upmarket afterwards and bought a Wolseley 1500 which was an iron oxide machine.
After that fell apart, he bought a Trafalgar Blue Moggie thou.
How we loved it. Poor brakes, poor handling but full of character. The wings rotted so Dad and I replaced them with new ones we paint sprayed using Mums cylinder vacuum cleaner.
Happy days and nice to reminisce. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

A30 had trafficators so the indicators must be add-ons.
