I've had quite a number of things from Steve at AF over the last couple of years. Recently did the brakes on the the front of one of the FL2's. I toyed with these, but went with the Brembo.

I used Pagid - good make. The rear discs are solid not vented. Just a generic picture on the box. John

The Indy I use uses pagid. He replaced my front and rear with pagid. He told me to stay away from mintex brakes. He said pagid or twr were the best brakes to use in his opinion. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

On the box that I bought my wife for her birthday pressie was a cracking looking bird dressed just in her underwear. In the box was just a bra. |

I replaced my rear discs, pads and handbrake shoes, using all Pagid parts. This was about March, and the discs still look brand new, when you look through the wheel. Must be very good quality coating on there, i thought it was just silver paint to make them look good for a while. They work well too. Pagid again, when the fronts need doing. |

I replaced my front and rears with Mintex. They were squeaking before I changed them but try as I might and despite numerous cleaning, chamfering and lubricating attempts, I cannot get rid of the squeeeeeak as I come to a slow speed stop. |

Copper slip grease applied liberally to the rear of the pad, or have you done that? |

Many times. First with the original pads and again with the new ones. As the man with the steering whel stuck on his knob said to the doctor, "It's driving me nuts"! Only benefit is that I know when wifey has arrived home and its time to delete my browsing history. |
