Fuse was my first thought. That said, after reading & re-reading the manual along with inspecting the various fuse boxes, I can't see a single fuse that relates to dipped/full beams.

After about an hour's investigation by the LR Assist guy involving checking voltages & running diagnostics, the fault was found...

This has happened to me recently. I found it odd that both lights stopped working at the same time, the bulbs were the last thing I considered. I had an older set of bulbs that I popped in after checking fuses and the wiring and presto, it was working again.

Perhaps now is the time to invest in osram nightbreaker plus bulbs?

Perhaps manufacturers could be persuaded to have all headlamps blow in pairs. That would put a stop the the numpties who drive around the countryside with just one headlamp on in the dark. |

Well how did the op get home. Time was.when it was unusual to see a vehicle with a faulty light due to the presence of plod. Now, I'd be rich if I had a pound for each vehicle that I saw with a lamp out. |
