if you are out and about, like a travelling sales man, and not stopping at the same address through the week you can only have it rated on your home address, though you should let them know that this is your situation entails this

Presumably they asked you your occupation and you gave them an honest answer. Also presumably you told them you needed cover for business miles. Their risk is based partly on those answers. If you feel they should have some clarification, give them a call. It may cost you some extra premium, but you will have peace of mind in the event your car gets stolen from a hotel in Auchtermuchty!

I was once staying in a hotel in Wakefield. I went to reception to pay my bill and was asked do you have a red Vauxhall Cavalier? I said no but why do you ask. Well it's sitting on the car park with 4 bricks under it and no wheels at the moment. |
