United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Fuji White

I'm running Continental Contacts at the mo. Ended up putting the spare on the NSF as it was bought 2nd hand and has a similar wear amount to the OSF and is an identical alloy and tyre so no real issues.

Don't get me wrong, I love the car and I get a smile on my face every day from driving it. Maybe I'm just unlucky then Mav but in 6 months and 16000 miles I've had......

Crankshaft oil leak
Water leak to high level brake light.
Hesitancy issue (kinda cured now temps low but VIN suggests the new software upgrade)
Throttle body (LR out of assemblies so that's being done next service if the rattling doesn't drive me batty in the next week or so.
Re-occurring fault with heater (random temps every now and again) still not convinced it's working right as I've got it set at26 in the mornings and can't ever remember having a car temp set that high. LR are aware but there's no fix yet.
Uneven tyre wear (23,000 is the lowest I've ever scrapped a tyre!)

Nearly all these as far as I know are 'known' issues. I'm not criticising the car as I love it. It's awesome and just what I want. But just in my car alone I think that's a fairly long issue list.

Do a search on here, almost everyone has had the same problem with Contis, soft shoulder and always the front nearside. Thumbs Up

That is a shame that you have suffered with these issues. Hopefully they will be sorted and you can then enjoy the car.

If it helps, my Conti's scrubbed the outer edge, but the Michelins I have now don't do it. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
