Space probe

A Space Probe has just landed on a Comet and has just started beaming pictures back, so far a Washing Machine, two Televisions and a Microwave Oven have been spotted as well as old carpets bits of wood and bricks and a copy of the Daily Mail Ex 2010 Freelander2 GS-e Diesel manual Silver owner

Just think, a Freelander on the comet would weigh only 6 ounces (the mass would be the same so no difference in 0-60 performance if you take some air). I wonder what traction setting would be best?

I suspect there would be a huge difference in the 0-60 time, as with only 6oz on the wheels you'd just sit there with the wheels spinning uselessly!

Besides, it's only a couple of miles across - walk you lazy so and so. Laughing

Don't forget that with no air resistance the top speed should be higher although I understand that the escape velocity from the surface is only 0.5 metres/sec so it would be a bit of a one way trip. Hill descent control would be interesting though.
