Winter Tyres with no TPMS on car with TPMS

hi

Can I mount the 17" winter tyres from my 2012 freelander 2 with no TPMS on my 2015th with TPMS without having warning beeps or something? I can live with the warning light on, but would be hell having a warning sound all the time.

thx

As Nick says, buy another set of monitors, the system cannot be turned off by an LR Dealer, you will get constant warnings for Low Pressure.

It might not be answering your question but it was giving a possible way to prevent what your worried about

With your rude reply, I hope you don't bother and the car beeps away Rolling Eyes Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If it beeps, try to modify the Car Configuration File, "No TPMS installed" option.

Nope, I do not agree

You know why?

When I am asking If there is an acoustic warning or not, I do not need advice to buy the sensors. This is completely off the issue.

Its like asking which car is better offroad, Freelander 2 or Evoque, and someone will say "buy a defender". That is not the issue and irrelevant.

So I can say, there are three logical answers: Yes, No or both

If there is a permanent warning sound, of course I would need the sensors, I dont want going nuts. If there is not, I can save the money, cause I am checking the tire pressures every second time after filling up the tank.

Thank you!
