Not interested in the new engines, same overstated fuel economy figures as the current ones. I've had 4 PSA engines and never let me down. If I see owners reaping significant benefits from the new engines then I may change my mind.

Yes the basic Peugeot engine seems pretty solid, the issue is with the control systems and 2011 model year TD4 are the ones with the problem when made significant changes to reduce the emissions and hence road tax, I have one and my dealer said they have three customers with the hesitation problem and LR don't know how to fix them. |

Some Evoque owners are having a tough time with the 9 speed auto which swayed my decision to go with the manual. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Yep, although in some of the literature they call it Efficient Driveline. Either way it's just something else to go wrong, and another step towards the school run people carrier. |

My car is coming with efficient driveline, only petrol cars have active driveline as per the evoque. Efficient driveline is just a fancy name for the current 4wd system, so I believe. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

Done some research on efficient driveline, it's the same intelligent full time 4wd system that we have at the moment but uses the latest haldex unit which is 4kg lighter.

When is the DS site going live as Freel2 was up and running before customers had cars? |

Your later post says only 5-seat SD4 and TD4 are available with AD, so it seems to be seat configuration which makes the difference, not engine. Maybe there's not room for the additional hardware in the 7-seat versions? Since the UK won't initially get the 5-seat version it won't get AD either. (No 5-seat bad, but no AD good!) |

Well some of the pavements outside of schools can be quite challenging for a Chelsea Tractor. |

Jan '15 LRM has an article Freelander 2 vs Discovery Sport. It's not the best article I ever read, but the conclusion? There's never been a better time to buy a new Freelander. Price, once again, plays a big part in making the DS look unattractive. |
