Heated Seats, Heated Steering-Wheel

Hey,

are the temperatur of the heated seats and the heated steering-wheel are anyhow dependent of the exterior or interior temperatur? or should they grill you anytime?

thx Smile

i think the only time the outside temp will come in to effect is through the summer months, if its hot outside i recall them not coming on

other than that, the seats are dependant on which setting you use (1 or 2 lights) the steering wheel, seems to have one setting 'toasty' Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Neither steering wheel nor heated seats will come on or off automatically depending on the temperature inside or out. They are purely manual, although they will cut off when heated up to a certain core temperature within the elements.

ISTR the steering wheel and seats will top up the temperature if it senses them getting cooler. The time the seats will do this is unlimited. The steering wheel is 15 mins, you then have to switch it off and on to get it to work again.

Thx Legoman Thumbs Up

I know that I have to activate the heated seats and steering wheel manualy, but I thoght the top end temperatur would on be different on level 2 or 1 if its 15°C outside oder 5°C for example or if it is cold or warm inside the cabin

For the seats....
They have some target temperatures settings for both level 1 and 2.
Once those temps reached, the heating stops until the temperature drops a few degrees from the target temps.
Temperatures are read by the help of some sensors in the cushions.
In winter will take a little more time to reach those temps than in summer. Obvious reasons...
