Hi Tom, yes it's the one. The wire is about 3ft long but it can run on it's own charge. |

That's the bit that interests me i do mainly short journeys and hate wires trailing around. The picture quality looks good. |

Thanks for the reply iam looking to hardwire one in. I am in Thailand at the mo and there's lots here for sale starting at £20 but I think for £50 I will wait and grab that one from costco. I take it it uses a mini USB connection? If so I will just buy a long lead from the bay and wire it into the fuse box.

Most use 5v, not the 12v you will get from the fuse box |

The USB plug in phone chargers can be modified to hard wire in to your 12v supply, that's the easy way as they are cheap. my PC is slightly to the right of Genghis
