For those curious about the D.Sport the owners manual can be viewed on Topix.
This shows how the rear seats work amongst many other things you may be interested in finding out
The handbook ref is LRL 10 01 63 152.

At the preview event tonight, had a chance to play around with the DS, I'm impressed with it. You sit lower into the car and don't have the same veiw over the bonnet as the Fl2/D4.

The third row seats are definitely for kids, a few adults tried them, getting was ok but getting out was a laugh. The boot space is good with the second row moved forward and rear leg room is excellent with them moved back. The car I was playing with had 4x4i which shows the 4wd system working as per the D4, I did notice that they don't have a CD player. The glass roof is a nice touch, makes the cabin light and airy. The roofline to the rear is quite low compared to the Fl2 which may be a concern for some.

The cars on show were pre production cars but initial thoughts on build quality are that it feels sold and well put toghther but time will tell.

For whoever asked me to find out about the third row seating being isofix, they ain't.

My personal veiw of what I need in a car it's very well packaged and does everything I need and more. Will not suit everyone.

I did notice a limit button on the steering wheel so I assume it has a speed limiter, I'm sure someone asked about this.

It was difficult trying to get photos, too many people jumping in and out of them.

Good info there Jamie Thumbs Up , are you leaving your order in place then?

Not keen on the view out of it, sounds like the 'command' position is compromised?

Yep I'm happy to leave my order in place, I think they call it Sports command now. You still get a good veiw but not what some perceive a Land Rover to be. There was two HSEs and two HSE luxury and to be honest I couldn't tell the difference in specs between the two. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200

We are planning a factory tour Feb/Mar time, if you know it's build date we might get to see it being built, maybe the first ever off the line with a DiscoSport sticker Laughing

It does have a speed limiter similar to Range Rover and Range Rover Sport.

After playing around with the HSE at the preview event it got me thinking, So went in to the dealers today and changed the order to HSE manual. They weren't to keen to order HSE manual as most prefer the auto come resale time, called over his colleague and he pointed out that he had a few customers wanting used FL2 HSE manuals and are struggling to find them, so they think it might be a rare car and values maybe as strong as the auto. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200
