Has anyone found a definitive solution to stop condensation getting in to the new style LED back lights? I've noticed it seems to be the left hand light more than the right on my car? It's not just when it's been wet! just a change of temperature over night will cause them to fog? Is this a common fault on all models with the LED back lights? I've taken the lights out a couple of times to dry them out and found no visable faults? It's a common occurrence and nothing to worry about, other than aesthetics, happens with other makes too.
With the sun on the lamp housing it warms the air within, the temperature outside is much lower so the plastic lens is cold and the warm air condenses onto it. All down to physics and not much can be done really.

How about some desiccant in the units?

It would help initially, however, once full the desiccant will release moisture and your back to square one.

The only place I can see moisture possibly getting into the light units is through the Fog, indicator and reversing light bulb holders, the seals don't seem that good, especially as they are located behind the rear wheel arch! and not inside the boot like most cars. Maybe some sort of silicon around them might work.
