Wondering if anyone here has driven a pre-release DS yet, maybe at a preview event?

I've no problems taken a first build, I done it with the Evoque, never had any problems the odd creak but that's nothing unusual for LR no matter how far into the models lifespan.

Thx J77, interesting pics of the rear seating. Those child / teen seats really are rather small. Can't help thinking for many it may be more useful to have the space instead, and a deeper boot; oh, other EU markets can already!

I would prefer the 5 seats also, giving you the space below, perhaps LR are just trying to appease a certain Sussex member, and it's not the above. |

I had one of the first FR1s built - all I could afford after I gave up on my first (and almost my last) Disco. It was faultless over three years, drove it to Turkey and back, did a rescue on Dartmoor. It's all down to luck whether you get the teething troubles I suppose. Ex AA Series III LWB Safari - Gone

Hop over to Disco4.com He's running around in an HSE manual, first impressions are good, the manual is nice and smooth. I'm hoping to get a good rumage around the car on Thursday. I would also prefer the 5 seat option but I suppose the extra 2 seats may come in handy for something. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I would be interested in this Taz. I was fortunate to go on a tour to see X-Type and FL2 production when I had my X-Type. I found it very interesting indeed. 2010MY 2.2 e4 (gone but, not forgotten) Audi TT Roadster 3.2 DSG FFRR Westminster 4.4 TDV8 (L322) |

Sure I read somewhere that the second row doesn't fold flat... According to the car builder, 3rd row is an option that also adds second row slide and recline so maybe in 5 seat config the second row will fold flat but not in seven seat config.

To clarify what Natwest said. They fold flat, but not flush with the boot level. There is still a step there. Last edited by IDL on 29th Oct 2014 2:56 pm. Edited 1 time in total |
