First thing to do is check your battery voltage, if your alternator's failing a new battery won't last long. |

Thanx for that, I did have that checked before I fitted a new battery & it was reading ok, but I had to start somewhere & a new battery was the cheapest option, so I went for a Honda Battery with a better ampage. When it does turn over on about the 3rd attempt it turns over ok, not labouring like a flat battery. I will have my alternator checked again tho with the new battery on. I am thinking it's something else tho? |

In that case you may want to have a look at the extra earth strap threads.

Could be the starter motor solenoid.
