Trip Counter and Info Computer keep Resetting?

Hi All,

Over the weekend I noticed that the trip counter under the speedo and also the main trip computer (the driver info thingy) reset themselves, both at the same time.

Then this morning, it happened again...

Has anyone else had this problem?

Regards,

David

Have just come back from a caravaning weekend, left the misses in the FL2 with the sat nav plugged in me mobile phone on charge and the radio on whilst I poped into the van shop when I returned and started me journey thats exactly whats happened to mine, also am finding that after driving a while and stopping waiting at say a junction the FL2 idle drops to 500 rpm for a short while then picks back up ?? strange..

By the way the FL2 TD4 towed like a dream...F.A.B

No reset's till now (1000km on clock). All electrics seem to work fine (thank God)! When did you get your LR2's: could it be that they might need a software update?

Mine resets each time the friggin thing dont start Big Cry Big Cry , Censored pain. Bumpt into a guy at Donnington services up the M1, he had a GS I think? who said he had this problem too, and he would loose all his pre programmed radio channels too, said his dealer had put a patch download on it but it still does it.

I'm not too bothered about mine as it is being replaced in a couple of months because of all the grief I've had with other 'non fixable' electrical probs.

Crakin car though very pleased otherwise.

Sorry to say this guys, but I had my first reset couple of days ago. No other problems till now (1500km on clock). The reset took place just after I started the engine. Heard a beep, look to see what's wrong and there it was. Trip computer and trip counter reset, nothing else (hopefully).
