Thanks All, I think we may have established that I don't have a DPF and EYorkshire says that the seals should last, only in the case of a worn shaft Shocked would they break. I think some more exploratory work is needed. By the way, the local LR stealer are now ignoring me as I didn't pay their fee for looking at the car, as I had arranged with them when I booked the appointment that they would look initially FOC...... Great service! Whistle
