United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 Dynamic Auto Santorini Black

Finally got around to getting the mud flaps fitted to my Dynamic.

I think they look really good. Having a black car they blend in really well. Great fit. They make the car look more "squat" if that makes sense. I also have side steps which have a similar effect.

I'm aware I've ruined the "serious" off-road capabilities of my car but..... I'm rarely on tracks or in fields. Mostly road driving.

Thanks Gazzerman for the tip on where to obtain them. A bargain for £50 inc pp.

What next??

RR

Mud flaps I bought some off Matford Landrover ,they are made by age 4x4 ,but they have fitted them in the dealers as Landrover don't do any for the body kit vehicles. Haven't fitted mine yet .Contacted my dealers Stratstone cardiff and they wanted £180 for the mud flaps and £180plus vat to fit them

I fitted my black badges this week and used a hair dryer so far so good.I thought about side steps but changed ny mind I think they will be a waste of money,I had them on my D2 when I bought it but I removed them.

Landrover sidesteps are £850 fitted. I had a set fitted in Barking, Essex from an ebay seller for £250. They are aftermarket items but look identical including the brackets. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

Gazzerman , have just brought a set of these mud flaps and hoping to fit them shortly. Dont suppose you remember where abouts you secure the metal clips that the fixing screws go through on the front flaps please? Did you spread them over the removable trim that you have to drill the holes through or is there somewhere behind this where they go?
