Glad to help. I seem to have had a photo malfunction I thought I had uploaded two pics, a before and after but lost the before somehow !! The chaffing on my cable had gotten worse than yours so glad I spotted it,wet damp mornings on the way n all that. Back in the fold after 8 yrs. V8 Disco 300 series-Gone.07 Freelander 2 HSE Auto Rimini Red.

The link to you 2nd photo seems to have got corrupted, try editing your post its still there. Anyone know what those wires are, I didn't stop to look.
