Judder/Power

Right, hopefully this is nothing (I will cry otherwise) but in the last few days while driving my MY11 TD4 GS manual I have experienced what I can only describe as a little jump or judder, tending to be around 28mph so in 3rd or 4th. Its as If I've lifted the clutch and jumped it back up. Only does it once. Haven't noticed it at any higher speed.

Nothing? Something? Don't want to tale it to local dealers who charge £150 regardless of if anything is wrong.

Cheers.

Wales 2011 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Bali Blue

My 2011 GS does something similar between 1500 and 1800 rpm.

It doesn't happen all the time and we could not recreate it when taken back to dealer. Green Discovery 300tdi Modified,

Was reading another thread on here regarding a vacuum in the fuel tank and the release valve on the filler cap being blocked. Since I got the car, it has always made a big ducking sound as I open the filler cap. I had assumed this was normal. Until I read the thread here.

I then googled it and found this: http://www.4x4community.co.za/forum/showthread.php?t=168069#

Sounds very similar to my issue and caused by the same thing.

Really quite annoying as this car was bought from an LR dealer and has an extended warranty, yet the hassle to go and get it checked and then get a new cap is just a pain.
