With all the talk of spiders invading our homes, my house is covered in webs and spiders, fortunately this one lives in the hedge, eating a hornet this afternoon, one it caught earlier appears to have been wrapped and saved for later.

There was a spider in our house last night so big that when I tried to hit it with the paper, it took the paper off me and hit me with it

not as much action, bar me waving my arms around after walking in to a few cobwebs just incase there was a spider on me

It's body is about the size of my thumbnail, it's the biggest I have seen round here, it's about 5ft into the hedge so I can't reach or I would put my finger next to it....honest |

Looks like a Garden Spider and maybe a Furrow Orb-Weaver? npinks one is a bit hard to tell....
