Does anyone know if a 2013 auto gearbox will fit onto a 2007 2.2 DZ594 auto?
The model number of the 2013 gearbox is TF-81SC.
I can't see a model number on my current 2007 gearbox, but they are both made by AISIN AW CO LTD JAPAN.
The 2007 gearbox has this number: 699N-14C338-CA, 071101356, .003107381154J6 12V

My front nearside drive shaft bearing is worn and causing a noticeable vibration just before the upchange in each gear.
I'm told it can't be fixed and I need a new gearbox. Or a recon gearbox, or a 2nd hand gearbox.

Which leads to question 2, is there a gearbox ECU that will need re-programming if I change the gearbox?

Just a thought but have you checked the CV joint on the drive shaft? We had one go and it exhibited similar symptoms (on a manual).

I can have a look at that.
With the car up on a ramp you can physically move the drive shaft in the bearing.

On the other hand I could put it up on EBay as is. I saw a link on here for one that sold with a blown engine that made £4000, and I could live with that!
